Portia James Lee DeGeneres (born Amanda Lee Rogers, 31 January 1973), known professionally as Portia de Rossi is an Australian-American actor, best known for her role as lawyer Nelle Porter on a television series Ally Lindsay Bluth Funke McBeal and the comedy Arrested Development. She also portrayed on the sitcom Veronica Palmer ABC Better Off Ted and Olivia Lord on Nip / Tuck.
