The king of Bhutan, to be married today in a traditional ceremony in the isolated Himalayan nation, is a man of 31 years, with a touch of folk, famous for inviting his people in his house for tea and chat .

Pema will continue as part of his studies in London, where he is said to have developed a strong interest in art and is studying for a degree in international relations.
