Detroit Lions


Detroit Lions are a professional American football team based in Detroit, Michigan. They belong to the Northern Department of the National Football Conference (NFC) is a National Football League (NFL), and play their home games Downtown Ford Field in Detroit.
Originally based in Portsmouth, Ohio, and called the Portsmouth Spartans, the team began to play in 1929 as a team of independent professionals , one of many such teams in Ohio and Scioto River valleys. For the season 1930, the Spartans formally joined the NFL as the second independent region folded as a result of the Great Depression. Despite the success in the NFL, they could not survive in Portsmouth, where the smallest city in NFL. The team was purchased and moved to Detroit for the season 1934.

The Lions won four NFL championships, the last time in 1957, the club second longest drought in the championship behind the NFL Arizona Cardinals. Lions are one of four NFL teams that are still qualify for the Super Bowl. The 2008 team became the only team in NFL history to lose all 16 regular season games since the NFL went to a 16-game schedule in 1978.

Logos And Uniforms  :

The design consists of silver helmets, pants, jerseys with silver and blue or white.
