Va Technical increases in college rankings
U.S. Information & Community Review now rates Va Tech's basic plan as the 26th best among nationwide community universities--up from Twenty eighth last season. Among the college's top showings were the Higher education of Technological innovation, rated 17 in the state, and the Pamplin Higher education of Enterprise, which innovative eight areas to 38th best in the state.

"This improve in our nationwide ratings is as a result of the effort and commitment of our staff and learners," said Charles Steger, chief executive. "Clearly, our graduates are entitled to a lot of the credit through their ongoing assistance for our initiatives to develop the instructional quality of the higher education."

The Higher education of Technological innovation is rated 17, linked with Rensselaer Polytechnic Company, Tx A&M Higher education, and the Higher education of Mn. Eight of Va Tech's engineering divisions were rated in the top 25: aerospace engineering was rated 13th; chemical type engineering, 24th; city engineering, 10th; pc engineering, 16th; electro-mechanical engineering, 16th; ecological engineering,14th; business engineering, 9th; and technical engineering, 14.

The Pamplin Higher education of Enterprise is linked at 38th with Brigham Youthful Higher education and Tulane Higher education, and is ranked above Bill and Betty, which was ranked as the 41st best business plan in the state.
