Regis Philbin Signals After 28 Years As A TV In The Morning :

NEW YORK - Send a kiss to the audience of more than 28 years, host Regis Philbin signed on television Friday morning."I will always remember spending the morning with all of you," the veteran show-biz personalities said, concluding his last appearance as host of the syndicated "Live! With Regis and Kelly."

At 80 years, Philbin has logged more than 17,000 hours of television in a career dating back to 1960. He gained fame in prime time as host of "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?" A decade ago. However, its long-term impact also hosted a morning show, and how they run stories about, for example, dining out on TV convincing.On leaving, Philbin said, "I wanted this to be a show where people feel better about themselves, to look at life in another way, a fun way."Philbin has dry eyes, but co-host Kelly Ripa fought tears, recalled how she was frightened on his first day as Philbin partner and how he felt comfortable.
