Columbus, Ohio - Penn State at Ohio State was held scoreless in the second half Saturday to earn at least part of the Nittany Lions leading the Big Ten crown Division 20-14 victory, their first since Joe Paterno was fired. But training was another problem that has aroused much interest.
Ohio State has been in contact with former Florida coach Urban Meyer on how to become a coach at school, sources close to the ESPN analyst and the Buckeyes have told ESPN.com. No contract is in place and the announcement is not likely to become a regular season, but has a strong interest from both sides.
Meyer said Saturday in the broadcast booth to play Nebraska and Michigan, where he worked for ESPN, "there is no truth in it" when asked about reports that according to coach the Buckeyes.
"I have not been offered a job, and certainly not accept any job," said Meyer.

"I do not think it's time or place," said Fickel. "There are things that I have no control over. So I did not think I waste a lot of my energy on it. "
