Ingredients :
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Melt butter in large skillet. Saute onion and mushrooms in butter. Cook green beans in chicken broth for 10 minutes and drain. Add green beans, mushroom soup, onions, and House Seasoning, onion mixture to taste. Mix well. Pour batter into a greased baking dish a 1/2-quart. Bake for 20 minutes, then top the casserole with cheddar cheese and bake for 10 minutes or until the pan is hot and cheese is melted.
House Seasoning:
- Third of the stick of butter
- 1 / 2 cup chopped onion
- 1 / 2 cup fresh sliced mushrooms
- 2 cups sliced green beans
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1 (10 3/4-ounce) can cream of mushroom
- 1 (2.8 oz) can French fried onion rings
- Pinch House Seasoning, recipe follows
- Shredded cheddar cheese

- 1 / 4 cup black pepper
- Garlic powder 1 / 4 cup
- Mix ingredients and store in an airtight container for up to 6 months.
